Boutsen Aviation, an aircraft broker headquartered in Monaco, has made two changes to its leadership, naming Dominique Trinquet as president and Mathieu Pezin as executive vice president.

Both Trinquet and Pezin join Thierry Boutsen, founder of the company and ex-Formula One driver, and co-founder Daniela Boutsen on the board. All four board members are also company shareholders.

“Our team’s values and ethics, the comprehensive understanding of our client’s needs, strategic initiatives and commercial knowledge have greatly benefited the business as a whole – our sales network and our clients,” says Thierry Boutsen. “The new appointments are a natural progression.”

Trinquet has been a shareholder at Boutsen Aviation since 2000, while Pezin joined the company in 2003, specialising in private jet and helicopter sales.

“As Boutsen Aviation approaches its 300th sale, the new board is aimed at speeding up the company’s move to its next phase of innovation and growth,” said Trinquet.

Pezin has a bachelor’s degree in aviation management and flight technology from Florida Tech University and a master’s degree in aviation management from ENAC, France. He is also
qualified for a FAA IFR commercial pilot license with a Beech 1900D rating.

Launched in 1997, Boutsen Aviation has closed 295 aircraft sales to date.
