Bombardier Aerospace updated its schedule for Learjet 70 and Learjet 75 jets at the National Business Aviation Association convention today. Speaking during a press briefing at NBAA in Las Vegas, Learjet’s vice president and general manager, Ralph Acs said the company has started to deliver the first Learjet 75s to customers. He also confirmed that the Bombardier expects to achieve certification of the Learjet 70 soon and anticipates that deliveries will begin later this year.

In addition Acs said that the Learjet 85 will make its first flight before the end of 2013, confirming that the building of the first Learjet 85 Flight Test Vehicle (FTV1) is now complete.

The Learjet production hangar in Wichita that will cover the Learjet 70, Learjet 75 and Learjet 85 aircraft programmes is now ready and operational.

Since 1990, when Bombardier acquired the company, Learjet it has launched eight high-performance and fuel-efficient Learjet aircraft.
