David’s Advice – Top Tips

Clients should have confidence that their lawyer will put them first in all aspects of their engagement – to be on their side at every turn – whether in a transaction, dispute or other issue. Clients should retain a lawyer who clearly imparts a desire to build trust with integrity and sincerity. These core values form the basis for developing a quality, enduring and enjoyable relationship with clients.

David’s Background

I grew up in Ohio, in the mid-western U.S., and started my legal career in New York City where I practiced law for nine years. During that time frame, I practiced at mid-size law firms and then switched to a corporate law department of a Fortune 100 company. The company then relocated my young family to San Francisco.  After eight years, we moved to Dallas, Texas for new opportunity and to live near family.  I eventually returned to private practice in corporate, asset-based lending, leasing and aviation finance law in “big law” for about 16 years. Now, a long-term resident of Dallas, I practice law in the mid-size Shackelford Law firm with an internationally respected private aviation legal team. Here, I can offer broad and significant value to my clients covering their entire aircraft experience, whether in transactions, normal occurrences and even problem situations.
