Executive Flight Services has added a new Embraer Legacy 500 and a Phenom 100 EV to its fleet.

It has taken delivery of one of the first Phenom 100 EVs built by Embraer and the first Phenom 100 EV to join a fleet programme. The aircraft is based in the Kansas City area.

“The utility and overall performance of the Phenom 100 has been exceptional. The 100 EV takes Embraer’s technological advances to the next level with the Garmin touchscreen flight deck, and operational enhancements in hot and high conditions. Our pilots are eager to realise the benefits for the owner.”

Keith Plumb (pictured), president and CEO of Executive Flight Services, said: “The utility and overall performance of the Phenom 100 has been exceptional. The 100 EV takes Embraer’s technological advances to the next level with the Garmin touchscreen flight deck, and operational enhancements in hot and high conditions. Our pilots are eager to realise the benefits for the owner.”

The Legacy 500 is based in a recently-expanded facility at Fort Worth Meacham Airport. Executive Flight Services now serves the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with four charter aircraft.

Harry Mitchel, chief operating officer, added: “The Legacy 500’s perfectly positioned for both the owner and charter customers. Our years of commitment in expanding our infrastructure and facilities have paid off. With that investment, our Embraer maintenance experts are able to reduce downtime considerably and keep each aircraft finely tuned and ready for service whenever they’re needed.”

Executive Flight Services has been providing full service aircraft management for more than 20 years. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Executive AirShare

Michael Amalfitano, president and CEO of Embraer Executive Jets, commented: “We’re very pleased to expand our partnership of nearly a decade since the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 joined the Executive AirShare fleet. Executive Flight Services took delivery of the first Phenom 300 manufactured in 2009, and we are honoured that they will now manage our next-generation Phenom 100 EV as well as our Legacy 500 to deliver even greater value to their customers.”
