Greenpoint gets Aeroloft patent

Greenpoint Technologies has obtained a patent for their Aeroloft product.

The Aeroloft features a customised stairway leading to eight private sleeping berths and optional changing room with closet, located above the main deck between doors 4 and 5 of 747-8 VIP aircraft. This solution provides passengers a comfortable rest area away from the main deck during flight.

“This is a milestone achievement for Greenpoint, following nearly 10 years of development, production, installations and testing.”

Bret Neely, EVP of Greenpoint said: “This is a milestone achievement for Greenpoint, following nearly 10 years of development, production, installations and testing. The Aeroloft truly is an efficient use of space on any 747-8 aircraft. It is an excellent example of Greenpoint’s collaboration with an OEM to design an innovative solution for our joint clientele.”
