Honda delivers two HondaJet Elites to Hawaii

Honda recently delivered the first two HondaJet Elite business jets to be operated in Hawaii.

The AMSTAT database lists the aircraft delivered as MSN 42000155 / N191WS and MSN 42000156 / N192WS. Both aircraft were handed over to Wing Spirit at a special ceremony at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu on June 27.

“We are looking forward to revolutionizing the business aviation industry in Hawaii with the HondaJet,” said Sal Miwa, executive vice president and COO, Wing Spirit. “We are confident the aircraft’s unrivalled performance and comfort will help us to provide our customers with exceptional experiences.”

As well as offering traditional charter services, Wing Spirit will also make the aircraft available for use in air-ambulance and medivac missions, a first for the HondaJet.

“The HondaJet’s superior performance and comfort are well-suited to serve Hawaii’s population of 1.4 million residents and 10 million annual visitors by providing convenient transportation between heavily trafficked islands,” said Michimasa Fujino, president & CEO, Honda Aircraft Company. “Wing Spirit using HondaJets for lifesaving transportation and as a method of convenient transit between islands is true recognition that the aircraft is achieving that goal.”
