Jet Aviation Basel signs VIP BBJ3 completion

Jet Aviation Basel has signed a completions agreement with an undisclosed client in the Middle East for a VIP cabin interior on a Boeing BBJ3. The aircraft will be delivered to the company in Q1 2016.
This is the 27th Boeing completion contract and the work will be carried out at the Basel facility. The aircraft is intended for both private and commercial operation. It will have European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval.

Designed by the Basel Completions Design Studio, the interior of the BBJ3 will feature a forward galley and crew area, a majlis, a master bedroom with a customised master bathroom and shower, a cinema lounge and a dining area for six. It will also feature a business class section, an economy class seating area and an aft galley. The aircraft will be equipped with the latest generation of satellite communications and connectivity, including an iridium satellite communication system and satellite TV.

Jet Aviation Basel has been completing aircraft at its completions centre since 1977 and has created more than 200 cabin interiors.
