Jet Aviation St Louis gains Mexican approval

Jet Aviation St Louis has received certification from the Mexican civil air authority as a repair station approved maintenance organisation (AMO) for aircraft registered in Mexico.

Steve Folks, lead AS9110 auditor at Jet Aviation St Louis, said: “This means we can immediately begin servicing Mexican aircraft. This is important because it now provides our Mexican customers with unrestricted access to our services.”

“Mexico has the second-highest number of corporate jets and civil aircraft registered in the world, only behind the United States, and they now have a convenient, one-stop-shop location for all of their aviation needs,” Folks added.

The Mexican Directorate General of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC) approved the AMO certification after its representative conducted an audit at St Louis last month.
