London – 13 March 2018: Mayors from across London and the South East visited London Biggin Hill yesterday at the invitation of the Mayor of Bromley, Councillor Kathy Bance MBE, for an exclusive look at new and upcoming developments at the airport.

The mayors enjoyed a presentation by community engagement manager Colin Hitchins on London Biggin Hill’s job creation, investment and infrastructure plans before embarking on a tour of the airport, which included the newly expanded Bombardier Corporate Jet facility. The tour also took in the spot chosen for the on-site London Aerospace and Technology College announced last month; a project supported by the London Borough of Bromley.

Andy Patsalides, marketing manager at London Biggin Hill Airport, says: “Following the success of last year’s event, we are privileged to once again welcome mayors from across the South East to the airport, on behalf of Councillor Kathy Bance MBE.

“London Biggin Hill’s plans for development have significantly evolved over the past 12 months, with investment directed towards the future of business aviation and technical education at the airport. Our distinguished guests were able to have a sneak preview of all we have planned, and the numerous opportunities that are brought to the area as we continue to be a gateway for business to London and the South East.”
