The National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA) has announced its new 2018 board of directors and the products and services member advisory council, at a meeting held during NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas.

Brian Proctor is the incoming NARA chairman and president, and CEO of the Mente Group. He said: “I am looking forward to working closely with the new board members, as we work to elevate the brokerage profession and better position NARA members as industry leaders for the future.

“The pre-owned business aircraft market is complex today and buyers need more access to professionals they can trust to help navigate through the brokerage and acquisition processes. Our team of 100 NARA-certified broker/dealers and products and services members are the most qualified to provide this valuable service.”

The new incoming 2018 NARA board of directors includes Proctor; Doc Dwyer of Guardian Jet as secretary; Chad Anderson of Jetcraft as treasurer; Todd Jackson of Elliott Jets, Paul Kirby of Cerretani Aviation, Mitch McCune of Corporate Fleet Services, and Chris Meisner of Meisner Aircraft as members.

The products and services member advisory council for 2018 comprises Jonathan Levy of Advocate Consulting Legal Group as chairman (he also serves on the NARA board); Stephan Asper of AIC Title Service as first vice chairman (he also serves on the NARA board); John Prock of Bank of America Leasing as second vice chairman, and John Hayes of PNC Aviation Finance as secretary.

All NARA broker/dealer members must follow a strict code of ethics and complete a rigorous application process, established in 2013, to become an exclusive NARA-certified aircraft broker/dealer.
