Oxford and Cambridge Airports
have confirmed that they have both taken confirmed slot bookings for next
year’s 2012 London Olympics. Some of the other forty airports and airfields may
have also taken firm bookings for slots for the event already.

Speaking to Corporate Jet Investor at the Future of Business Jets
Conference held in London early this week, James Dillon-Godfray,
business development director of Oxford
Airport confirmed that
they had taken their first booking on 1 November. Archie
Garden, airport director of Cambridge Airport confirmed that his airport had
also taken some firm bookings for slots.

They both advise to those business aviation users who plan to visit the
2012 Olympics to ‘book early and avoid disappointment.’
