Piaggio Aero appoints FreeSky Aviation as the first P180 Avanti authorised service centre on mainland China.

Piaggio Aero appointed FreeSky Aviation as its first P180 Avanti authorised service centre on mainland China. The company made the announcement at ABACE 2014 in Shanghai.

FreeSky Aviation already manages two P180 Avanti II aircraft for charter operations.

The authorised service centre will be at FreeSky’s headquarters at Tianjin International Airport.

Giulliano Feiten, chief commercial officer at Piaggio Aero, said: “As we continue to grow our business across Asia, we are pleased today to appoint FreeSky Aviation as our first service centre in China; they will  provide support and state of the art maintenance service to  all P180 Avanti II  owners and operators.”

Han Wenjun, vice president of FreeSky Aviation, said: “Being appointed  as first P180 Avanti /II authorised service centre in China is a great milestone for  Freesky Aviation and it also represents a  solid step forward in the development of our business.”

“I would like to thank Piaggio Aero for the support and confidence in Freesky Aviation. As their first authorised service centre in China, we will provide professional and comprehensive service to Avanti operators and we will further expand the customer service network of Piaggio Aero,” Han added.

FreeSky Aviation was established in December 2011 and obtained AOC in June 2013.
