ST Aerospace wins five VIP interior contracts

ST Aerospace has secured five maintenance and refurbishment contracts for business jets.

The company has won contracts for three BBJs, one Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) and a Boeing 757, from VIP customers in Asia Pacific and the US.

Aircraft arrivals are scheduled through the first three quarters of 2016.

“We notice a rising trend of aircraft operators requesting for VIP aircraft cabin interior refresh to be performed concurrently with heavy maintenance. The breadth of our VIP completions and maintenance capabilities allows us to provide a complete experience for our customers,” said Ang Chye Kiat, Executive Vice President, Aircraft Maintenance and Modification, ST Aerospace.

“We notice a rising trend of aircraft operators requesting for VIP aircraft cabin interior refresh to be performed concurrently with heavy maintenance.”

“While we already offer a one-stop-shop, ST Aerospace continues to enhance our in-house capabilities, as evidenced by the recent addition of a brand new VIP aircraft interiors centre in Singapore and the expansion of our back-shop support in the US. We are confident that these investments would bolster our efforts to deliver world-class quality in aircraft interiors,” said Kiat.
