Stephen’s Advice

“I would always advise clients to contact a lawyer as early as possible in the transaction as the lawyer can ensure that they have all of the necessary advisers in place as soon as possible  to ensure that that the client’s wishes will be fully carried out and to try and limit the possibility of there being any surprises prior to completion. It is important that the client is informed of the matters that they need to consider at the outset so that they can give clear and timely instructions and set out their commercial terms for the transaction which the lawyers and other advisers will ensure are reflected in the negotiations and ultimately completion of the transaction.”

Stephen’s Background

“I moved back to the Isle of Man from the BVI in 2010 and at that point the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry was three years old and already exceeding expectations and a success. I felt that it was an industry with significant growth potential in the Isle of Man and one that I was keen to get involved with. Attending the CJI conferences and School together with EBACE strengthened my interest in the Aviation industry and the legalities involved with Aviation transactions.”
