Alex has 40 years of experience in asset finance and prior to joining Banc of America Leasing held senior international sales leadership roles in Barclays Bank, GE Capital, where he initiated and established their EMEA corporate aircraft business, Royal Bank of Scotland and Textron Finance Corporation.

Mark Bisset
Partner, Clyde & Co.

Mark's experience includes loan and lease financing, operating leases and tax-based leases, export credit finance, and aircraft purchase and trading, in a wide variety of jurisdictions. He also has wide experience of regulatory matters in aviation.

Mark has been very active over the last 10+ years in the business jet market, acting for financiers, owners and operators. In 2017, Mark was ranked as a Band 1 individual in Private Aircraft (Global-wide) in Chambers High Net Worth, and Clyde & Co was similarly first-ranked. Spear's Magazine describes Mark as an "eminence grise" of business aviation.

Who's Who Legal Aviation has commented that Mark is an "exceptional finance lawyer with extensive knowledge of both the commercial airline and business jet market."

Mark is contributing editor of the annual publication "Getting the Deal Through - Aviation Finance and Leasing" and co-editor of "Getting the Deal Through - Air Transport".

Mark is a Guest Lecturer at the International Institute of Air and Space Law, Leiden University.

Nick Bridges

Nick Bridges holds the position of Aviation Underwriter at MS Amlin, a leading insurance and reinsurance company headquartered in London and part of MS&AD, a top 10 global insurance group.
Nick took up the role at MS Amlin Asia Pacific’s Singapore office in 2016, transferring from the London team, and has 10 years’ experience in aviation insurance with 3 Lloyd’s Syndicates. He underwrites a diverse portfolio of risks in Asia and beyond including General Aviation and Airline clients, and in addition has a particular focus on Aerospace operations such as airports, ground handlers, refuellers, MROs and products manufacturers.

Nick has a Bachelors degree in Modern Languages from the University of Nottingham and has lived and worked in 3 continents. He therefore has a particular interest and appreciation for different cultures which is of notable value given the multitude of brokers, clients and service providers he comes into contact with from across the region.

Claudio Camelier
Vice President Sales - Middle East & Asia Pacific, Embraer

Claudio Camelier is the Vice-President of Sales for Embraer Executive Jets in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. His team is responsible for promoting and selling the Phenom, Legacy and Lineage product lines in the region.
With the Company since 1998, Mr. Camelier previously held positions in Embraer’s Product Strategy, Market Intelligence and Customer Support organizations.

Prior to joining Embraer, Mr. Camelier dedicated eight years to the aviation industry in Brazil, in the fields of flight operations and performance engineering, airport and navigation fees and aviation fuel management.

Mr. Camelier received his Aeronautical Engineering degree from the Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica (ITA - Brazilian Air Force Institute of Technology) and holds a MBA in Business Management from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas university in São Paulo, Brazil.

Jaslyn Chan

As President of JSSI Asia, Ms. Chan provides leadership to the organization’s activities in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to joining JSSI, Ms. Chan served as Director of Business Development for TAG Aviation Asia, managing over 50 private aircraft with a combined value in excess of $1 billion. Ms. Chan previously served as Director and Group Chief Operating Officer for Asia Jet Partners.

Ms. Chan holds an MBA in Airline Management and Professional Leadership. She completed her undergraduate degree in Aviation Management at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Ms. Chan is a member of the Asian Business Aviation Association.

Peter Coles

Alexandria Colindres

Alexandria Colindres, is the Director of Business Development at the Registry of Aruba. She holds a degree in Fine Art from Tufts University graduating in 2010, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Colombia College when obtaining her Master’s degree. During this time, she organized and curated several art exhibitions, both for profit and non-for-profit and collaborated with several reputable arts organizations. She was also selected to be the volunteer Curator for the Rock for Kids, Junior Boards annual charity fundraiser (2012), resulting in the highest grossing Junior Board charity event to date.

After graduation she went on to manage Spinello Projects one of Miami’s most successful and reputable art galleries. At the Registry for the past five years, she currently handles all the customer development, works directly with the Aruba’s civil aviation authority, and offers support to the various other departments to keep continuous communication throughout. She is also responsible for the coordination and organization of the various trade-shows, conferences, and publications which the Registry of Aruba participates.

Len Cormier
Safety Oversight Advisor, Bermuda Aircraft Registry

Captain Len Cormier is the Safety Oversight Advisor for the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA). He is responsible for advising the unit’s Director General on all aspects of the BCAA safety oversight programme, including the implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) by service providers.
Prior to working in Bermuda, Len was engaged by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) for 14 years as a Chief Technical Advisor in the Asia Pacific region. Over this period, he was responsible for assisting states in in strengthening their safety oversight programmes.
He was previously engaged by Transport Canada for 20 years as an inspector and manager in the area of personnel licensing, aerodromes and flight standards. For most of that period, he was responsible for the development of air operator regulations and standards, as well as oversight of air operators.

Len began his aviation career as a pilot for various air operators in Canada. He holds a Canadian Airline Transport Pilots License and is type qualified on the DC-3, C550, CL601, B737, B757, B767 airplanes and on the Bell 206 helicopter.

David Crick
Managing Director, DavAir Group

David Crick is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). He serves as the Machinery & Technical Specialties Discipline Governor on the ASA International Board of Governors and is the recent President of the ASA Australian Chapter. David Dixon

As President of Jetcraft Asia since 2012, David Dixon is responsible for optimizing sales strategies and managing operations from Beijing to Sydney. A leading global authority on the private aviation sector, David has lived and worked in Asia in aircraft sales for more than 30 years, and has more than four decades of aerospace industry experience. David joined Jetcraft following a long and successful career as Regional Vice President for Bombardier Business Aircraft. He was awarded the “Member of the Order of the British Empire” (MBE) distinction by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in 1977 for his contribution to British exports and is the former Vice Chairman of the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA).

David is originally from the UK and currently resides in Hong Kong.

Paul Freeman

David Hernandez

Ms Jolie Howard is the CEO for TAG Aviation Asia. Jolie has been in the business and general aviation industry in Asia for over 20 years, specialising in the areas of advising business jet owners on the aircraft operations, costing, flight planning and international registration issues. Andy Hudson

Sarah Kalmeta
Director of International Business – South APAC, Universal Weather & Aviation

Ms. Sarah Kalmeta is an expert on operations and ground handling throughout the Asia-Pacific region and a passionate advocate for ensuring the future of business aviation. As a member of the Board of Governors at AsBAA, the Asian Business Aviation Association, she is heavily involved in the Hong Kong committee and leads AsBAA Discovery, the association’s student and careers chapter aimed at bridging the gap between next generation talent and industry.

The past two years Sarah was the Regional Director of Operations – APAC at Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. In this role, she supported the company’s Universal Aviation ground handling locations to ensure the network has the infrastructure, resources and expertise to exceed client expectations. In her current position as the Director of International Business for South Asia Pacific, Sarah is tasked with continuing to expand the company’s growing APAC presence while simultaneously educating local government and airport officials to understand the benefits of the business aviation industry.

Prior to joining Universal, Sarah, who is based in Hong Kong and is fluent in English and basic Mandarin, most recently served as Head of Flight Services for Hongkong Jet in Hong Kong and has been based in several locations throughout Asia since 2010.

Violet Kwek
Sales Director - Greater China and North Asia, Global Jet Capital

Violet Kwek started her career in corporate finance in 2004 in Singapore. Her career in transportation started in 2007 when she joined DVB Bank Singapore (a commercial transportation focussed European bank) as an Associate in their Mergers and Acquisitions Shipping team. Subsequently she moved to the shipleasing team, structuring finance and operating leases to shipowners based in South-east Asia and India.

In January 2010, Violet joined Standard Chartered Bank's Structured Finance team in Shipping as an Associate Director in Hong Kong where she built up the shipping debt and lease portfolio in China and Taiwan across a diverse range of clients spanning private enterprises, conglomerates to state-owned enterprises and Chinese leasing companies. Violet became an Executive Director in Shipping Finance in 2014.

Violet’s last role prior to joining Global Jet Capital in February 2017 was the Deputy Head of Shipping Finance and thereafter the Deputy Head of Corporate Banking in the Hong Kong branch of China Minsheng Banking Corporation.

Paolo Lironi

Paolo Lironi is the director at 2-REG and the CEO of SGI Aviation. Paolo has more than 20 years of experience in aviation. He joined SGI Aviation 10 years ago as an executive director and in charge of its engine team. Paolo became the CEO of SGI Aviation and 2-REG director in September 2014.

Paolo started his career in the engineering department of Air Europe of Italy, the leading charter operator in Italy at the time. He then moved to Total Engine Support, a boutique firm specializing in engine consultancy. Thereafter, he became the powerplant department manager for Volare airlines. Following the bankruptcy of Volare, Paolo moved to IASG, where he built his own team of consultants that pursued in advising and assisting airlines, lessors and investors on engine-specific and other essential technical & financial matters.

At SGI, Paolo has been instrumental in the creation of 2REG which is a unique example of cooperation between a national authority and the private sector and this is evident from the fact that till date, more than 300 aircraft have been registered on the 2-REG register.

Jeffrey Lowe
Managing Director, Asian Sky Group

Mr. Lowe has over 35 years of Engineering, Marketing and Sales experience in commercial and business aviation. His most recent position is as Managing Director for Asian Sky Group & Asian Sky Media in Hong Kong. Asian Sky Group is the largest business aviation consulting group in the Asia-Pacific region with 30 employees & 6 offices. It focuses on both fixed and rotary aircraft and related aviation services. Asian Sky Media annually publishes 10 industry reports & magazines and offers a number of different marketing platforms for clients wishing to increase their brand awareness in the Asia-Pacific region. Asian Sky Group & Media are both backed by SEACOR Capital (Asia) Limited and Avion Pacific Limited and both are designed to capitalize on their shareholder companies’ considerable investments and business development initiatives already in the Asia Pacific region.

Having resided in Hong Kong since 1997, Lowe specializes in the Greater China business aviation market. He first came to Hong Kong as a Director of Sales for Asia-Pacific for the Bombardier Aerospace Business Aircraft Division. He was then appointed Regional Vice President of Sales for Asia by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in May 2000 where he was a top sales executive. In 2007 Lowe joined the recently formed BAA Jet Management Limited and was responsible for establishing and expanding its managed aircraft business plus aircraft sales, marketing and project development.

Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Lowe worked in commercial aviation for the de Havilland Aircraft Company of Canada, Boeing Canada, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, the Canadair Regional Jet Division and Bombardier’s Regional Aircraft Division. Lowe began his career as a Ground Test Engineer and then moved into marketing and sales internationally in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Lowe earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 1983. He is a Canadian native, married with 2 children.

Sarah Magee
Commercial Aviation Director, Remote Diagnostic Technologies

Sarah comes from a background of high level sales and marketing, with multicultural experience at a global level. With almost 20 years in the medical device industry, she has worked with both business aviation and commercial aviation at a number of levels.

Sarah’s initial appointment at Remote Diagnostic Technologies (RDT), was as BDM for Business and Corporate Aviation, EMEA and APAC, promoting Tempus, a Telemedicine solution. She resides in the UK and works internationally with some of the largest Commercial airlines in the world, in her current role as Commercial Aviation Director for RDT, a Philips Company. She is also responsible for Business and Corporate Aviation, APAC.

As well as being involved in general sales and marketing activities, Sarah is a regular presenter at a number of key aviation events around the globe on the subject of general medical support in aviation, a subject she is very passionate about.

Steve McManus
MRO Sales Director, GE Aviation

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Steve is an educated engineer, master blackbelt, working sales professional with a strong background in private, business, and commercial aviation. Having more than 30 years of experience at GE in engineering, customer/product support and sales, Steve’s primary focus is business aviation engine and OnPoint sales and service on GE CF34, Passport and CFM engines powering Boeing Business Jets, Airbus Corporate Jets, Bombardier and Embraer Business Jets within his regions around the world.

As a pilot, Steve comes from a family of pilots and has enjoyed the pleasure and challenges of aircraft ownership as well.

Scott McCreary

Scott McCreary represents local, national and international clients in connection with matters involving the buying, selling, leasing and financing of aircraft. His practice is primarily focused on matters relating to the Cape Town Convention, the Federal Aviation Act and the FAA Aircraft Registry, such as aircraft title, registration, finance and leasing law, as well as regulatory issues relating to the operation of aircraft under Part 91 of the Federal Aviation Regulations.

Michael Mechler
Sales Director - Business Aviation, Rolls-Royce Deutschland

Michael Mechler is Rolls-Royce’s Sales Director – Business Aviation. In this role, Michael is responsible for Rolls-Royce’s aftermarket services sales for business aircraft, including CorporateCare® and Time&Material Aftermarket sales and marketing. His sales region comprises the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. Michael is part of Rolls-Royce’s global sales team and is based at Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co KG near Berlin.

Prior to this current role, Michael held positions within Engineering and Customer Services at Rolls-Royce Deutschland. He joined Rolls-Royce over 23 years ago.

Michael holds a diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany.
Michael is married and has 4 adult children and one grandson. He resides in a village south of Berlin, Germany.

Chris Miller

Chris Miller is Managing Partner at Shearwater Aero Capital
Shearwater is a private finance company offering asset-based financing on business jet aircraft for clients across the globe. Founded in 2014 and based in Atlanta, Georgia, Shearwater has financed aircraft in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the USA.

Prior to Shearwater, Mr. Miller oversaw Guggenheim Partners’ Business Aircraft Investment (BAI) Group. The BAI Group provided capital solutions to the business aviation industry, specifically asset-based lending on medium to large sized business aircraft.

Prior to a career in business aviation finance, Mr. Miller ran the US Division of a UK based performance management consultancy working with management teams of both small and large organizations on the execution of their strategies. Notable projects include working with a private equity group to form a venture to fly cargo into geopolitically unstable regions of the world as well as working with large defense contractors to help fulfill urgent need requests from US military forces based in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Before entering the business world, Mr. Miller served in the United States Marine Corps, as an F/A-18 pilot, Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Aviation Safety Officer. He is a graduate of the U.S. Navy & Marine Corps School of Aviation Safety and currently holds a commercial pilot rating. He is an accredited “Senior Aircraft Appraiser” with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and serves on its Investment Committee. He is also the former President of the National Aircraft Finance Association (NAFA). Mr. Miller received a BA from Denison University and an MBA from Columbia University.

Maximilian Motschmann
CEO, International Jet Management Asia

Max has been in Asia for the last 34 years having previously served in the German Air Force in various flying positions. Munich Riem Airport Corporation and FRAPORT were his next career steps in airport management before flying again with Aero Lloyd in Germany.

A brief stint with the Royal Fleet in Saudi Arabia brought him to Asia and he grew roots in the aviation world of Asia. He served as Consultant for Security and Operations to the General Manager of the Manila International Airport and served as the Senior Consultant in the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) directly reporting to the Director General. His main responsibilities were flight operations as well as cultivating international relations with ICAO, FAA, EASA and other National Civil Aviation Authorities.

He incorporated and managed a Flight Operations Service Company in the Philippines before joining International Jet Management (IJM) as Regional Operations Director in 2012.
Since 2013, he is the CEO of International Jet Management Asia Ltd. and since then have taken care of the development of IJM’s business interests in the Asia and Pacific region.

John O'Meara
General Manager, Aviation Concepts Technical Services Inc.

At ACTSI, John takes the leadership role as general manager for the ACTSI Subic Bay International Airport facility in 2018 where he is responsible for managing all aspects of daily operations and business development while also looking forward to building ACTSI into an MRO power in Asia.

Mr. O’Meara has over 50 years of experience in aviation as a pilot and the aerospace industry at the management level. Mr. O’Meara was formerly with Gulfstream Aerospace both as the Chief Test Pilot and the Director, Flight Operations Test where he directed the efforts of over 50 pilots for both experimental and production test operations.

While at Gulfstream Aerospace, Mr. O’Meara participated in the design, development, and certification of several airplanes including GIV (post TC), GV, G550, G450, G650, G150 and G280. Mr. O’Meara was the Pilot In Command on the first flights for the GV, G550, and G450.

Since retiring from Gulfstream Aerospace, Mr. O’Meara remains active as a corporate pilot flying various model airplanes including the G650, G550, G450, GV, and GIV.

Mr. O’Meara holds a BA, Economics from the University of Notre Dame. Mr. O’Meara is a United States Marine Corps (USMC) veteran with a one-year combat tour in the Republic of Viet Nam flying the AH-1G Cobra gunship earning several decorations.

During his 28 years in Business Aviation Richard has held Field Service, Airworthiness and Engineering positions with OEM’s and Corporate Flight departments in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Richard joined ExecuJet as part of the initial management team that started ExecuJet’s UK operations at London City Airport in 2008.

In 2014, Richard relocated to Singapore and for the last five years he has been responsible for Business Development and Client Management across the Asia Pacific region.

Jean-Noel Robert
Head of Business Development, Airbus Corporate Jets

Mid 2006, Jean-Noel joined Airbus team in Dubai as Sales Contract Director, looking after airlines in Middle East. Mid 2008, he became ACJ North Asia Sales Director. In Sep 2010, he moved to Hong Kong and in June 2015, his regional responsibilities were extend to whole Asia.

Jean-Noel also served as Chairman of the not-for-profit Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) from 2011 to 2013. Under his leadership, AsBAA notably doubled its members, launched the 1st ABACE in Shanghai and created the Hong-Kong, Mainland China and South East Asia chapters.

Mid 2016, Jean-Noel moved to HQs (Toulouse - France) to his current position. His main mission is to develop initiatives supporting commercial activities with clients and industry influencers.

Jean-Noel graduated from Toulouse Business School. He started his carrier with Airbus in 1995 in the Customer Support division. Lasse Rungholm

Lasse Rungholm is an aviation lawyer specializing in EU importation and all matters related to EU VAT, duty and aircraft. After graduating in 1993 Lasse focused on Transportation law and spent 6 months in Norway studying maritime law at the Nordic Institute of Maritime Law.

Establishing OPMAS in the early 90's Lasse has gained a lot of expertise in the area of EU importation, customs duty and Value Added Tax, the VAT. As a member of NBAA and EBAA Lasse has been a panelist at numerous different conferences and is a well-known speaker. Articles include review of court cases and new legislation some of which can be found on the OPMAS website.

Lasse maintains a relationship with DELACOUR, which is one of the largest law firms in Denmark. He still handles a few select aviation cases every year before the courts.

Lasse is also a professional pilot with both EASA and FAA ATPLs with multiengine land- and seaplane ratings. He is rated on Twin Otters on floats, the L-29, ATR42/72s and Citation II 550 series and flies them regularly.

Nils Uellendah

A product and automotive designer with extensive experience in Europe and Asia, Nils Uellendahl was appointed as Design Director of the Shanghai Studio of BMW Group Designworks in 2017. Responsible for product and transportation design, he works with diverse clients across a broad range of industries, creating meaningful products and services. His passion for future-oriented thinking combined with a level headed strategic approach has led to a successful and award-winning portfolio.

Nils began his career in London with Ross Lovegrove, honing his design approach. He then joined Designworks, spending time in the Singapore, Munich and Shanghai offices, where he worked with Fortune 500 companies, and contributed to numerous BMW vehicle projects, including the interior design of the BMW X1, launched in 2017.

Following this, Nils led the interior design team of Great Wall Motors as Director of Interior before re-joining Designworks Shanghai.

Ford von Weise
Global Head of Aircraft Finance, Citi Private Bank

Ford von Weise is currently a Director and Global Head of the Aircraft Finance Group at Citi Private Bank. The group provides private aircraft financing solutions to individual ultra high net worth clients and their companies throughout the world. Ford's responsibilities and roles while at Citi have included loan origination, product program management, reporting and workouts. The group focuses on transactions typically in the range of $10 to $50 million.

Ford has over fourteen years of business aviation experience most recently serving as Vice President of Business Aviation Finance for Merrill Lynch Capital. Prior to Merrill Lynch, he worked for GMAC Commercial Finance in the same capacity. His expertise covers a wide range of corporate and personal aircraft both domestically and internationally. Prior to joining GMAC, Mr. von Weise was Vice President of Capital Transactions at Lend Lease Real Estate investments, where he was responsible for the recapitalization and workout of large multi-family properties throughout the U.S.

Mr. von Weise is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Aircraft Finance Association and was appointed by the Boards of Selectmen from the Massachusetts towns of Concord, Lincoln, Bedford and Lexington as a commission member of the Hanscom Field Advisory Commission. He is also a past board member of the Massachusetts Business Aviation Association and a local volunteer representative for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He is also an instrument rated pilot, aircraft owner, and a pilot for the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. von Weise has also appeared on the Discovery Channel as an aviation expert in the Celebrity Crash Files, J.F.K., Jr, documentary series. He is also currently a member of the Board of Advisors for Brown Aviation Lease.

Donald Walsh
Senior Vice President, Stonebriar Commercial Finance

Don Walsh is currently Senior Vice President of Originations for Stonebriar Commercial Finance, Business Aviation, the company’s global business aviation financing platform.
Don joined Stonebriar from Guggenheim Partners, where he was most recently a Managing Director and oversaw new transaction origination activity for Guggenheim’s Business Aircraft Investments group. He brings over 25 years of experience in the business aviation finance industry, previously originating transactions at US Bank Equipment Finance, Key Equipment Finance and Boeing Capital Corporation. He joined Boeing Capital following the merger between The Boeing Company and McDonnell Douglas Corporation.

He previously worked at McDonnell Douglas Finance Corporation as an Asset Manager, responsible for the company’s portfolio of business aircraft operating leases. Prior to joining McDonnell Douglas Finance, he worked at Equitable Life Leasing Corporation as a lease manager. Don received a BS from University of the Pacific and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Mike Walsh

Simon Williams
Director of Civil Aviation, Isle of Man Aircraft Registry

Simon Williams has successfully held a number of challenging senior operational and staff appointments. He has operated as an aircraft commander, training captain, qualified helicopter tactics instructor, and instrument rating examiner and has flown a wide variety of aircraft including Royal Air Force Search & Rescue Sea Kings, Special Operations Pumas and civil Boeing 757s and Boeing 767s, most recently for British Airways.
During 5 years at the UK Civil Aviation Authority, he developed a very broad regulatory and safety portfolio which saw him chairing groups at national and international level. These groups were focussed on delivering tangible safety benefits whilst working closely with a diverse cross section of the aviation industry. Towards the end of that tenure he increasingly devoted much of his time to working in ‘Safety Partnership' with the Business Aviation community.
In his current role as Director of Civil Aviation (DCA) he is leading and managing a large multi-disciplinary internationally-based team and is directly responsible for a multi-million pound budget. The breadth and depth of the DCA role is significant and includes: leading, managing and growing the world's 6th largest international private/corporate Business Aviation registry; regulating aviation, airspace and airport activity on behalf of the Isle of Man Government with direct accountability to the UK Department for Transport and the UK Civil Aviation Authority; and facilitating the growth of the increasingly successful Isle of Man aviation industry.

Before he joined Textron, Rocky was Chief Engineer of Boeing China Service since Nov 2003.
